I just love these old J-45s and this one I can say with certainty is one of the best sounding I've heard . Here is a stunning 1948 Gibson J-45 , it has just been re-fretted and has had a neck reset. It plays perfectly, there is plenty of room on the bridge for height adjustment , it's had all the necessary work done to make this one last another 75 years . A few cracks have been repaired/cleated and are completely solid the guitar is structurally perfect.
It maintains its original machine heads with an added strap button on the neck block .
The bottom end and volume are amazing while maintaining a focused and articulate tone . Words words, words ! Come down and listen to this one !
